Cyndi’s Riddles and Rhymes VII
On a horse or played as a game
These shoes won’t bring you luck
Try hanging them above a door frame
But make sure they’re pointed straight up.
Luck of the draw
Put your hand in the sack
Consider yourself lucky
If you get it all back.
Heads up, think fast!
Don’t be caught with lowered pants
Grab it in the air for a bit of luck
Or off the ground, you take your chance.
Every dog has his day
Maybe that dog is here
Some days the bear gets you
Some days you get the bear.
Close your eyes
Toss a coin to the fish
If it’s from the heart
You’ll get your wish.
Rub-a-dub-dub
Rub a big tummy
You and Lady Luck
Will become real chummy.
